Fritelli Arte Contemporanea

Art galleries
Florence

The Gallery Frittelli Arte Contemporanea inaugurated in 2006 the new exhibition space of about 2000 square meters, completely renovated by the architect Adolfo Natalini. In addition to the rooms for temporary exhibitions, an area called "Le Stanze" hosts in a permanent exhibition works by artists with whom the gallery has collaborated since the beginning of its activity.

Customized management system

A cataloging software developed with the Frittelli Gallery staff to meet the needs of the different artist archives and the regular management of the gallery.

The Gianni Bertini Archive and the software solution

The Archive for the works of Gianni Bertini is located at Frittelli Gallery, founded in 2004 by Carlo and Simone Frittelli together with Bertini himself. The development of the software solution for the Frittelli Gallery has greatly simplified the complex drafting of the contents for the drafting of the Catalogue Raisonné of the artist.

The Catalogue Raisonné Gianni Bertini

In addition to archived and published paintings, the catalogue also includes a selection of works on paper, collages and works made with other techniques practiced by the artist. Alongside the works, there are essays by Francesco Tedeschi, curator of the project, Federica Boragina, Kevin McManus, the biography of the artist signed by Myrna Galli, who was responsible for cataloguing the works on behalf of Frittelli Arte, promoter of the operation; as well as a selection of poetic texts by the artist. The trilingual volume will be published in two volumes.

About us

Our collaboration with Officinebit began in 2006, the year of the inauguration of the new gallery "Frittelli arte contemporanea" in northern Florence.

We relied on their professionalism to digitalize and organize all the work of the gallery, with particular attention to the Gianni Bertini Archive and the graphic work of Pino Pascali.

Officinebit has created a personalized app for us – agile and intuitive management – and has become, over time, a tool that has exceeded all expectations, a project that is constantly being developed and updated.

The most ambitious result, after more than a decade, was the Catalogue Raisonné by Gianni Bertini, just published in 2020, which we would never have been able to create without the support of Alice and Umberto for which “nothing is impossible”.

The artworks

The section dedicated to the works of the gallery allows the detailed listing of the property according to the functional logic of the Frittelli Gallery.

The iconographic set of the work

Each artwork is accompanied by a set of images. A system that allows a continuous updating of contents without ever losing traits of the past.

Many images for each work

A greater richness of the iconographic material enhances the work.
A structure that allows all the information on the authenticity of the work to be gathered in a single solution is a fundamental tool for a scientific and effective filing.
