The artist

Livio Bernasconi is one of the most eclectic personalities of the contemporary scene in Ticino.

An artist who, in the last half century, has been able to explore methodically and inventively the relationship with painting along a parabola which, on both sides of the Atlantic, has consciously brought the historical and contemporary avant-garde of art closer to the point of constituting a rare and almost unique case, not only at the local and national level, but also and above all because of the charge of fresh inventiveness with which, on the threshold of ninety years (Bernasconi was born in 1932), he continues his expressive adventure.

The website www.liviobernasconi.ch (2018-2021) was based on "Artistwall", a web platform originally conceived for art collections and artist portfolios, a simple but extremely versatile solution that can adapt to even different contents and types.

Filters and search

Artistwall content can be organized into categories or topics. These appear in the navigation menu and act as filters to select the visible data. It is always possible to search for a particular work through the open search field.

The artwork and its relations

The potential of Artistwall lies in the links: each work has in fact an analytical detail page where you can add texts, multimedia files (videos, images, pdf files, etc...) and where you can see related works according to the same categories.
